Hi! I’m Erin…

Intimacy Coach + Human Design based Life + Relationship Coach

17 Interesting Facts About Me

  1. I lived and homesteaded on 27 acres in the wilderness of British Columbia. I grew, prepared and preserved all my own food from scratch. Before that, I had never grown so much as a houseplant, or cooked more than macaroni and cheese from a box.

  2. I had a bear pop his head up right outside my kitchen window and look me straight in the eyes while I was washing dishes one day.

  3. I once owned a gorgeous baby blue Vespa I named Luna. This beauty was the reason I ended up in my adopted city of Mérida, México. (It’s quite the story. Ask me to tell you sometime.)

  4. I’m a Mermaid Pisces whose happy place is water… I learned to swim by age 2. My record number of underwater backwards somersaults (in one breath) is 8.

  5. I’ve suffered body dysmorphic disorder my entire life, thanks to my early training as an elite classical ballerina where I was continuously body shamed and told I was fat.

  6. I love cars with sunroofs, and I drive with them open at all times (unless it’s raining). When it’s cold, I just blast the heater on my feet.

  7. I moved to Mexico in 2020 with a one way ticket and one suitcase, knowing no one - now I’ve become a legal resident, own a home there, speak Spanish and am living an international lifestyle between the Yucatán peninsula and the SF Bay Area.

  8. The true love of my life was a Havanese wizard doggie named Cooper, whose magical powers lived in his fu-man-chu beard (that grew for 15 years).

  9. I’ve transformed from survivor to thriver. The defining moment of this radical shift was finding the courage to press charges against my former dance teacher, enduring a 2 year legal process ending in court. He was convicted, safeguarding his future victims from harm (my intention). And I found my inner strength and my voice to advocate for myself (9 years before the #metoo movement gained traction).

  10. I’m a voracious learner. From hiding with a flashlight under the covers at night as a child reading books all night long - to the trainings, courses, articles, podcasts, videos and books I consume now like a ravenous (sexy) beast - I just can’t stop learning.

  11. I have a hard time posing for pictures. I can’t be serious, make goofy ass faces and act like a dork. It’s better if I do dance poses. Then I kill it.

  12. As a bisexual+ woman, it is extremely important to me that ALL people of any gender and sexuality feel welcomed, embraced and CELEBRATED in my world!

  13. My Human Design: I’m a 2/4 Sacral Manifesting Generator, Right Angle Path of the Sleeping Phoenix. I have 6 defined centers and 6 channels, including 4 to my throat center (I have deep intuitive insights and know what to say to help you in each now moment).

  14. I’ve been in monogamous relationships, consensual non-monogamous relationships, hetero relationships and queer relationships. I’ve been married and divorced. I’ve been “consciously single’, meaning I chose to be single for a period of time to develop and heal my relationship with myself. I’ve had a wide range of fun, sexy adventures many people only fantasize about. And the most meaningful intimacy I’ve experienced is when I’m emotionally close and committed with my partner.

  15. I’ve experienced what it’s like to die (and also to be in the womb). Dying was effortless and peaceful. The womb was claustrophobic. During this deep hypnosis regression session, I also realized our soul is eternal, having experienced these portals numerous times. I no longer fear death. I’ve had several people close to me pass away, and a number of them too young. I’ve experienced contact with them after their deaths. One truth I know is that we are never separated from each other at a soul level.

  16. I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), an innate trait coined by Dr. Elaine Aron, found in approximately 15-20% of the population (with similar stats in over 100 other species!). This can be really challenging in our fast-paced, harsh, modern world. Becoming aware of this, and learning how to work with my sensitivity and celebrate its strengths, rather than accepting the shaming idea society has about being “too sensitive” has been truly empowering. After all, sensitivity is defined as the ability to perceive, process and respond deeply to one’s environment. Which really, is a gift. I’m also High Sensation Seeking (HSS), which combined, makes for a very interesting combination…. hahaha omg

  17. I’ve devoted around 50k hours to dance since the age of 9 (and they say it takes 10k hours to make a master…). I spent my entire childhood training to become a ballerina (I even missed my high school graduation ceremony because I had a lead role in a performance that night). I danced with professional ballet and contemporary companies across North America. As an independent artist since 2004 I’ve performed my own work, taught a myriad of dance styles to thousands of students, choreographed hundreds of dances, and produced several of my own full length productions. When people ask how I decided to be a dancer. I reply, “Decided? It was a knowing in the depths of my soul from the moment I arrived in this life”.

Actually - dance is not just my life - I AM DANCE. It is how I connect to God, my soul, and all that is. It is my medicine. My sacred prayer. My art. My devotion. And it’s FUN!!

Having worked with 1000+ clients in over 2200 private sessions (as well as the 5,000+ dance classes she’s led), she’s seen firsthand that getting out of your head and into your body creates a kind of magic. And effective communication and intimacy with oneself and others are learnable skills.

She has helped everyone, from surgeons to tech moguls and CEOs of billion-dollar companies to San Francisco Symphony violinists, find a deeper connection and comfort in themselves and their bodies, more success in their lives, and greater harmony in their relationships.

Erin received her sex and relationship coach training at the Somatica Institute®. She has been dancing at an elite level as a ballerina since the age of nine and has mastered many forms of dance, including the healing art of mindful improvisational movement. Erin’s life story is a testament to the power of human resilience. She has transformed from survivor to thriver. She endured a 2-year legal process, ending up in court and his ultimate conviction, safeguarding his future victims from harm (which was her intention). She found the inner strength and courage to use her voice to advocate for herself and her other victims at a time when this was still a taboo topic (9 years before the #metoo movement gained traction). She has since worked to raise awareness and champion justice as a speaker and leader in the One Billion Rising Movement.

For the last decade, she has devoted herself to mastering the art of communication and conscious relationships. She has learned from and studied with a variety of mentors, including Celeste Harel, Ph.D., Danielle Hirschman, M.A. (Somatica Method), Baeth Davis (Life Purpose Mastery/Human Design), Dr. Alison Ash (TurnON.love), Carol Allen (Love is in the Stars), Noah Rothschild (Heal the Child Within), Arielle Ford, and Katherine Woodward. In addition to these studies, she brings an extremely wide range of diverse life and relationship experiences to her work with her clients. There is not much she hasn’t tried, and her open-minded, non-judgmental, and compassionate approach allows people of all persuasions to feel at ease and welcome in her practice.

As a bisexual+ woman, Erin is committed to celebrating humans in all their expressions (no matter their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, size, or abilities) and adores working with the LGBTQ+ community.
